Tonight as I was making dinner, running down the events of the day with Annie, avoiding the fly swatter as Jackson was attempting to catch flies, and just trying not to step on Rachel as she played on the floor around us; I realized how different all my children were and how much they each offered to our family.
Rachel: sweet and cheerful
Rachel is almost always happy. She loves to smile and laugh and play with her older brother and sister. Only 10 months and already a calming influence on our family.
Who knew a 2 year old could be such a tease!? Jackson's favorite thing in the entire world is to make Annie mad--and he is an expert at it. He loves to laugh and tease anyone who will humor him. Being silly is second nature to him. He is all about being fun and crazy, but his favorite thing is to be hugged and cuddled by mom or dad. He absolutely gives the best bear hugs!
I believe that if something were to happen to me Annie could take care of Jackson, Rachel, and the house. She knows where everything goes, the schedule, and how to make dinner. She constantly reminds me that she goes to school on Friday's and reminds Jackson that we don't scream at the table. Annie is the first to tell if something is wrong and the first to try to fix it--everything must be fixed.

Hey Amanda! What a cute bunch of kiddos! My girls have a swim class with someone from your ward and I was talking to the mom as we watched our kids swim. We found out we both knew you and we both agreed you are one of the most amazing, have-it-all-together women we know!! :) - Mary
Love them all. That is the cutest picture of Annie.
And Amanda's role: simply to be amazing! You do it all with class and ease. love you girl.
