Frisco Festival

It seems that in small towns the big thing to do is go to all the festivals within 30 miles. Last weekend it was the Frisco Festival. The Frisco Festival is actually in Rogers where we live and it was one of the first things we did after we moved here 2 years ago. (Yikes, can you believe it has been that long?) The great thing about the Frisco Festival is that it is all about the Frisco Train--Jackson was excited about that!!

Despite what my sister Alisa says, Jackson is not always sad--he just doesn't like amusement park rides as much as Annie does (in this case anyway). The fair had tons of free rides for the kids, music, and booths to walk around. Although Annie and Jackson really did enjoy most of the rides I have to say that I am skeptical of any motorized ride that can be put together and taken apart over and over again. Jackson was obsessed about riding this mini-dragon roller coaster. This was the only ride that a parent HAD to ride with the child. After waiting in line for a half an hour and riding it with Annie, I can say, it was the worst ride my body has ever had to endure. For all of you who live in NWA--avoid the Dragon Roller coaster at all cost!!! They both love Dragons right now--after bath time, they take their dragon and princess towel and they both always want to be the "Scary Dragon" that says "Rrrrrrrarrrrrrarrrr!" The best part of the fair: The train!!!
Spencer's favorite part--the really big slide!!
