First Day of School

Well I tell the kids that it is school anyway, but it is really Mother's Day Out. I am not sure who loves it more, the twins or me. Every Friday Annie and Jackson attend a local church's Mothers Day Out. Last Friday was their first day and they loved it. In the morning I dropped them off and told them I would be back in a while.  Jackson basically pushed me out of the door. When I picked them up and put them in the car all they had to say was, "School again, school again."  The only hard part was when Jackson was sad at rest time.  Annie was there to save the day though and patted his back reassuring him that mommy was coming soon. Ahhh, twins can be very sweet. I love that they have each other.

While the twins were at MDO I took advantage of having extra room in my shopping cart. I decided to do some food storage shopping. This was a great idea until  the moment I got to my car with a full cart of canned and boxed foods. The clouds assembled and there was a huge rain storm. I got Rachel in the car before the worst of it, but I had to look pretty funny trying to get all of the food in the car when I couldn't even see because the rain was pelting me so hard. By the time I was done, the kids' cup holders (in the car) were filled with water. I think that we have finally dried off---

MOD always sounded so fun! And you've prepared them for it by taking them to the gym! Good job. :)
