Day on Beaver Lake

We spent the day Saturday at the lake with friends. The kids loved it! We ate, swam, fished, danced, and hung out. We even spent part of it huddled up trying to avoid the rain storm. Annie and Jackson wanted to do everything "again," but Rachel was a little tired of people waking her up. Grampa Mont, Annie wanted you to see this picture of her driving the boat--she is getting ready for next summer's ski trip.

Looming storm clouds--it wasn't so bad to get wet from the rain because we all wanted to swim anyway. Jackson didn't want to get out of the water.
When we finally got in, he spent more time crying about getting in the water then actually swimming. Spencer would take him under the pontoon boat and he would kick his legs. A very different swimming experience then we had at the beginning of the summer when all he did was scream.

The favorite food of the trip was Cheeto Puffs and Capri Suns. A must for any boating trip.

This is the Lochness Monster of Beaver Lake.  Don't worry Rachel, I am sure he survived the swim. Thanks Mandy and Mike for taking us! We had a blast.
