Keeping Busy

Our new baby is coming this Friday so we have been busy preparing for the holidays and getting things done around the house. The kids still have no clue what will be happening to their little world. Spencer has been great helping me with projects around the house and my big belly! I thought is was Santa Claus, not his wife that had the round belly?
Jackson found the paper towels! Always a fun game.
After a year of piecing little squares and rereading instruction I finally finished my quilt. I am going to hang it on one of the large walls in our living room. Thank you mom for all of your help. This is my first real quilt and I am not going to say it is my last---but it will be the only one for awhile.
Fingers shaking and hearts beating, these are my fun piano students at their first piano recital. A member of our ward let us use her home. I thought it would be fun for the kids to be able to play on a grand piano in a different place. They did wonderfully!! I was so proud of how hard they all worked and how much they have learned.

Your world will change so much in just a couple of days. But you will all be able to be home in time for Christmas. I bet you will love being able to take baby C home so fast after being born. YOu look great. I didn't know you were teaching piano. How great. Do all the kids go to church with you? Are you haveing a C section with baby C?

You're done with the quilt? Wow, congrats! That quilt is special to me because it reminds me of our North and South afternoon. You have made my life so happy with the addition of that English flick! Thanks, thanks. Can't wait to see the quilt on your wall.

...and who knew that you taught piano? Wow, you can do everything!
