Twas the Night Before Christmas

After watching my kids enjoy Christmas so much I think that Christmas may be more fun being a parent then a kid. Annie and Jackson were so excited--counting down minutes, asking where Santa was, asking to go to the church to tell Jesus Happy Birthday, singing Jingle Bells, flying to Utah. . . .and on and on and on! We were able to have Christmas at home and at home (in Salt Lake) this year. What a blessing to enjoy Christmas as our little family, sleeping in our own beds and enjoying being together on Christmas Day. After a morning of opening presents and sleeping in, we packed up the car and headed to the airport to go to Utah.  My kids have been asking to go to Utah since October. Both mine and Spencer's families were all home for the holidays and we spent a couple of weeks having fun and being spoiled!!

This is the kids ready for bed in their new PJ's. Well Jackson didn't want to wear his new ones, so he has some old ones on. When Annie first opened hers, she told me she just got blue pajamas. When she unfolded them, she started jumping up and down yelling, Ariel, Ariel!! Our friends who were also home for Christmas Eve joined us for yummy food, games, and of course the kids' Nativity. Believe it or not, Jackson was a wise man. He just wanted to wear the jingle bells on his head.
