The last couple of years the kids have made gingerbread houses with friends and family. I dare say that this may be their favorite part of Christmas. The amounts of candy to eat while mom isn't looking is amazing!! The candy is around not only during decorating the houses, but as you can see from below, after the house was done as well.
I would like to point out the duck pond and cucumber tree in the back corner (the cucumbers didn't last--bad choice). What gingerbread man wouldn't want to live in this house. And yes, that is a bag of old Halloween candy.
