Since we were going to Kansas City for the Race, we decided to make a weekend out of it. Sorry we are a little backward on the pictures--but here are some of the highlights. We went up to Independence, Missouri on Sunday for church and to visit the Visitors Center. When we left Annie asked me if we were going to see Jesus Smith. I think we will need to work on that--who's who. The kids had a great time playing at the visitors center--there was an entire area set up for them to play. It may have been a little too much fun, because there was some kicking and screaming when we left.
We went to the Kansas City Pumpkin Patch. There were tons of things to do for the kids. It was really cold, but they didn't seem to notice because they were having so much fun on all of the slides and rides. 
Even Spencer, Mike, and Ben found things at the Pumpkin Patch to keep them busy.
