Spencer and I woke up 2 days after Christmas at 6:30 a.m. to a fabulous surprise on our front porch. His parents and 2 of his brothers had made the 20 hour drive from Utah to Arkansas to spend some time with our family and to surprise us! We were so excited to have them and my kids couldn't believe their eyes!! Because we were on Christmas break we had all week to hang out playing, shopping, eating, and doing whatever we wanted to---it was like being on vacation. While they were here we also blessed Davis. I was grateful Mont (Grandpa Monster) and Uncle Andy could be here to participate in blessing him. Especially because Davis has Mont's name for a middle name.

They didn't come empty handed--By driving their suburban out they were able to bring a few surprises along with them. They brought this doll house for the girls--which Annie has been playing with endlessly-I love it! The thanks truly goes to Mont--he put it together with 2 helpers--if you can call 2 small children helpers.
For those of you who read my blog you know that Rachel loves to wear dresses. She usually picks one and wears it for a month--introducing the New Dress! Her and Annie got new dresses and Rachel calls it her "lovely pretty dress". Originally she wasn't allowed to eat in her new dress, but we have thrown caution to the wind and now you will find her wearing it most of the day.
We have a lot of little baby helpers!

Thank you Santa for all the new toys that kept Uncle Andy and Uncle Mitch occupied while they were here.
These 2 great men have one great thing in common--they both love to cook!! Bonus for the rest of us!
Projects: Spencer loves having his dad come out because he can put him to work with all the little projects around the house that he needs help with--So Thank You Mont for all the projects and painting you did! Hope you enjoyed your vacation :)
