The Happiest Place in the World

With the new baby coming just around the corning and life for our kids changing as they know it we thought it would be fun to take advantage of some great airfare for a weekend getaway. We went down to Florida for a weekend and let the kids get a good dose of princesses, pirates, buzz light year, swimming, and roller coasters. As we were driving to the airport Jackson was already asking when we were coming back. Uncle Mitch met us there to help with kids and to ride the roller coasters with Spencer, Thanks so much for all your help Mitch. We couldn't have done it without you!

So we took a lot of pictures with characters this time, but I wanted to include Pocahontas because she had the best sense of humor--this is Jackson showing his big muscles.

My wet family after the 6th time of the water raft ride. Spencer, Mitch, Annie and Jackson rode it while Rachel and I squirted them.
What we looked liked after the first long day at The Magic Kingdom. We were up the next morning to do it all again-

Wow-my kids were so excited to meet Minnie and Mickey-I don't think they knew what to say to them. For a minute they just stared and than they wouldn't stop hugging them.

I would like to say that this was Jackson's favorite ride because he loves "shoot guns", but I think Spencer and Mitch liked it even more. Spencer is proud to announce that he maxed out the points at 999999. If any of you are traveling to Disney World soon ask him where all the bonus targets are. He may sell his secrets too you.
Aahhhhh-Annie had been waiting for this moment since we told her we were going to Disney to see the princesses. Annie and I had breakfast together at Cinderella's Castle and all the princess came in to meet the kids. Annie adores Ariel and couldn't eat her breakfast because she was so preoccupied with watching her. Annie was also excited to tell Ariel that she was going to be her for Halloween.
Mom and Annie at Cinderella's Castle for Breakfast. So I have to admit I think I had just as much fun seeing the princesses as Annie did. I am a sucker for a good fairy tale.
Being a curious 4 year old Annie had all sorts of questions about Cinderella's Castle (house). Where does she eat, where does she sleep, where is her prince---these are so patient princesses.

How fun for you! We went in June and it was a dream come true. We should get together soon. Also I'm pretty sure I'm your new visiting teacher. Let me know how I can help you!
