I would like to thank all the pretend tiny leprechauns out there for helping to motivate my kids to get to bed on time tonight. Not that they are necessarily excited about them. I think they are a little nervous about them coming in our house and messing things up.  Anyway, I told them that they would come in our house looking for gold and that they might mess up our toys. So we made a trap tonight and set it out to catch them.  We will have to see what happens.  Annie is hoping they stay for breakfast if we catch them.

The other day Annie told Spencer that they were coming soon and that all they did was mess up our house. She continued to tell him that she was going to lock her door so they couldn't get in her room and that they didn't even bring candy like the Easter Bunny. That got me thinking--if what we tell them is true there are a lot of crazy things coming into our house at night-giant bunnies, tiny green men, fairies that steal teeth, fat men--it is a wonder my kids sleep at all.
