Halloween at Wal Mart home office is tons of fun! Hundreds of families and children walking around in costumes with sugar comas collecting candy . Unfortunately our camera is on the fritz so I didn't get any pictures of the great decorations, but it was amazing. Spencer's marketing department goes all out. They decorate their hallways and cubicles into amazing things. This year there was an airplane to walk through, a disco place, a jungle, and a blown up office.
We knew that taking Annie and Jackson trick-or-treating at Wal-mart could be exhausting for us. Halfway through they would just want to be carried. Spencer had a brilliant plan this year to bring our little red wagons. It was perfect. They sat in their wagons and we pulled them around to visit all of Spencer's friends and co-workers. Annie has the candy thing down--she knew that the candy from all the people and in the buckets went in her pumpkin. Let's just say she wasn't shy. The trickiest part of Halloween this year was getting Annie and Jackson the candy fast enough. I don't know how, but they seem to recognize candy from any other food. As fast as they could collect it they wanted it all opened so they could eat it.
So thank you to whomever created Halloween and thank you to Annie and Jackson for helping mom and dad create a great candy stash!!

Gosh, Amanda, it looks like Jackson and Spencer were the only ones at Wal-Mart that day! How did you find that little place of solitude and peace in such mayhem? It was so cute to see you there. You are some of my favorite people.
