It has been a fun and busy Christmas season! Here is some of the things we have been doing. Of course decorating and preparing for Christmas. Annie and Jackson have been so excited about Christmas this year they have been asking if it is "Christmas Time" since mid-October. Finally when we got home from Houston, they were ready to go. They were so excited to decorate the tree that they wouldn't let Spencer and me help. It's a good thing that I am not attached to any of my tree ornaments--I think we broke about 8.

The beloved Yellow Couch!! You wouldn't believe it from
looking at the 2 kids jumping on it, but this beauty is a family heirloom. I love this couch. Grandma Pat loves to sleep on this couch. My mom used to love to sew on this couch, and now my children love to jump on this couch. I have found that during the cold rainy days, it is a perfect escape.

The best parade ever!!
Bentonville has a
Christmas parade every year! I will admit that it is a bit chilly outside, but
definitely worth it. I am not sure if the kids got more candy at the parade or for Halloween. . . next year we need to bring bags.

I took the kids up to
Branson for a couple of days where we shopped, watch Christmas movies, ate candy, and decorated gingerbread houses! We all had a really great time together. Spencer and some friends met up with us for the weekend and we went to Silver Dollar City. WOW is all I have to say--for all of you with a bucket list you need to put Silver Dollar City at Christmas Time on it!! Amazing lights, shows, rides--awesome!

At this point of the day--shopping at an outside mall--Jackson and Rachel were done with me. Annie was chipper as ever and wanted her picture taken by the big tree--look closely and she is smiling brightly in the back.

Jackson has been busy building a new train track everyday. I love to see what he comes up with and where he can make his trains go. Such a fun little hobby.
